Castle

Domoradice village is 5 km south-west from Vysoké Mýto in Czech Republic. The village is for the first time mentioned in year 1250. In 1590, when the landlord here was Albrecht Lukavský from Lukavec, the stronghold was first time mentioned. Many owners folowed and in 1747 it was bought by Václav Kordule from Sloupno. He and his son Jan rebuilded stronghold into rococo castle and its new look remained until present day.
From original stronghold sustained underlying walls and part of peripheral walls in ground floor.
During 19. cent . holders of Domoradice castle and country estate quickly changed till y.1889, when Jan and Anne Jílek from Lhuta bought this property.
Those in 1895-1897 rebuilded the castle in pseudo-renaissance and secession style. Building of the castle was completed by corner turrets and staircase into park.In terms of Zona Remix project will second floor of the castle building serve as permanent habitation and first floor as accommodation during workshops and guests visits.
